Manish Malhotra is an Indian fashion designer who often works with Hindi cinema actresses. He launched his label in 2005. In 2014, his label marked a turnover of over INR 1 Billion. Manish Malhotra started his career as a model while studying at the Elphinstone College.

At the age of 25, Manish Malhotra tried his luck in Bollywood by designing costumes for Juhi Chawla for the movie Swarg (1990). His gamble paid off when he won a Filmfare Costume Award for styling Urmila Matondkar in Rangeela (1995) for which he garnered some recognition. Since then, his career in the film industry took off as he went on to work for some of the biggest names in the industry. During his tenure, he had the fortune of working under several blockbuster films and actors.

Renowned Bollywood celebrity – Twinkle Khanna is INIFD’s Interior Design Mentor. She signifies the perfect blend of glamour & interiors and is also an award-winning interior designer. Her interior design venture ‘The White Window’ reflects her individualism. Students aspiring to make a career in interiors have a great deal to learn from the lady herself!

Twinkle Khanna is an Indian author, newspaper columnist, film producer, former film actress and interior designer. Her first book Mrs Funnybones sold over one thousand thousand copies, making her India’s highest-selling female writer of 2015.

She won the Outlook Award in 2016 for the most inspiring woman of the year. Khanna was invited to be a part of an eminent panel at the United Nations, New York on Women’s Entrepreneurship Day^[5] and also appeared on BBC world Impact show to talk about menstrual hygiene and sanitation globally. She has also received many accolades some of them being Hello! India magazine’s Visionary woman of the year as well as the Vogue Opinion Maker Of the Year. In 2009, People magazine listed her as the fourth-best-dressed celebrity in India.

Mr. Ashley Rebello is one of the most sought-after fashion designers in the Bollywood industry. Ashley is INIFD’s chief mentor for aspiring fashion designers. He’s the man behind styling the Bollywood megastar Salman Khan in so many of his hits like Kick, Ek Tha Tiger, Bodyguard, Ready, Dabangg, etc. His fashion wisdom proves invaluable to fashion aspirants from INIFD.

Ashley Rebello lives by the old mantra by Mark Twain “Clothes make the man”, so when his designs are being by shown off at fashion shows, by Bollywood megastars, beautiful brides, and sexy models in photo-shoots, this is the inspiration behind them. Ashley Rebello argues that clothes are not just something you wear to cover your skin, but that a great outfit is like skin; he believes that outfits should be worn as if you were made for them.

The designer continues to be an ambassador for the National Institute of Fashion Design. He explains that he uses this as an opportunity to talk to and observe the current trends of the youth. He believes this was a good investment, because the costumes designed for the movie “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na” were a success and many youths could empathise with styles of the main characters.
